Film about Racism

A man with nothing, hasn’t got a home, has no friends and is always bullied because of his skin. He decides to something about his life and goes through obstacles to get there. He applies for a job and they turn him down saying that “people your kind are not welcome here” he cries and a voice over occurs as he talks about how racism has affected his life and made him scared every moment. The film is in black and white. Voice over is meant to be emotional.

We hope that the journey to making this will also educate us and i think we can get all the neccesary shots by looking at similar films. The films i might look at are films like Remember the titans, Ray Charles... and so on. i think they will give us a clear idea into what makes it emotional, what shots indicate power or no power.
